Before you do ANYTHING else on system, you need Great keywords. The program won't do near as much good to keywords that are poor. With this in mind, Paul gets started.
He'll be sending traffic to his affiliate site, so he needs words that portray a web traffic generator; something that gets people hits.
He starts with the keyword phrase "awesome hit maker". Seems like a good place. After downloading Great Keywords v.1, he runs that phrase through the software. Unfortunately this produces no results. Hmm...now it's getting interesting.
That should have come back with GREAT results, shouldn't it? Maybe if he just puts "traffic generator"? NOW we're getting somewhere: "Traffic Generator", "web site traffic generator", "web traffic generator"...these are good phrases to work with. Paul takes "web site traffic generator" to Nichebot and SearchGuild. Nichebot shows that there are over 3,300 with a competition ratio of 4.33. That's excellent!
Just to be on the safe side, Paul checks SearchGuild for difficulty:
